FACA announces that the December 16-17, 2014 Head Start CLASS Reliability Certification Training must be rescheduled until after the beginning of the calendar year. The new date will be released and the training will be reopened after the Thanksgiving holiday. FACA appreciates your cooperation with this development. Happy Holidays!

FACA announces the Region III Community Needs Assessment & Planning Training April 23-24, 2014 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida!
This is a two (2) day training sponsored by the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity. The primary focus will be on how to conduct community needs assessments, strategic planning and community action plan development. The training will be presented by the National Association for State Community Service Programs (NASCSP) and provided at no charge to thirty (30) attendees/participants from the following Community Action Agencies:
  1. Broward County Department of Human Services
  2. Coalition of Florida Farmworker Organization, Inc.
  3. Charlotte County Department of Human Services
  4. Immokalee Multicultural Multipurpose CAA
