When visiting FACA's Web site and using the Hunger Hotline or Directory Search to obtain
referral information, you will not be asked to supply information that identifies you
personally. If you choose to add your Agency to the Directory for the purpose of providing
referral information to FACA website uers, you will be asked to provide information about
your agency as well as certain personally identifying information. This information includes
the Agency name and contact information, the Agency Web site address and information about
the programs and services offered by the Agency. If you choose to join FACA as an Individual
Affiliate, you will be asked to provide personal contact information such as your address,
phone number and email address as well as information about the Agency (if any) with who you
are affiiliated. If you contact FACA directly, we may keep a record of that correspondence.
We do not collect any email addresses of those who communicate with FACA via email. We use
the information provided so that we may respond to that email.
Cookies
To provide better service and a more effective website, sections of this site may use "cookies" as
part of our interaction with your browser. A cookie is a small text file (typically only a few bytes)
that we place on your hard drive to allow our server to identify your computer and passively track its
activities on the Web site. A cookie will not attempt to read any information on your hard drive and
will not allow a Web site to learn any personally identifiable information (such as your real name and

As mentioned previously, any information collected anonymously will be used to improve the quality of
our products and services for our clients and users. Any personal information supplied by you may be
used to contact you about changes or enhancements to our Products and Services, issues regarding your
account, or any Terms and Conditions violations or suspensions. The use of any information submitted
by you via a questionnaire or survey will be explained in that survey or questionnaire itself prior to
your participation.

We will never disclose, share, or sell individual personal information with anyone without your
advance permission, unless we are required to do so by law or we, in good faith, believe that such

to safeguard and secure the data that comes thorough our system. We use 128-bit encryption to secure
all personal identification and information. In addition, personnel who have access to our database
are trained to maintain and secure all information.
Password Security
The security of your account also relies on your protection of your personal account password. We
strongly urge that you never share your password with anyone. FACA representatives will never ask
you for your password via email, but may request it verbally if necessary. Any e-mail or communication
other than FACA verbally requesting your password should be treated as unauthorized and suspicious.
If you do share your account password with a third party for any reason, including because the third
party has promised to provide you additional services such as account aggregation, the third party
will have access to your account and your personal information, and you may be responsible for actions
taken using your password. If you believe someone else has obtained access to your password, please
change it immediately by logging in to your account and changing your Profile settings, and also

FACA's Internet web site is linked to other private, government, and quasi-government organizations.
When you leave FACA's web site via a link to another web site, you become subject to the privacy
policy of the new site, not this one.

If you have received an email from us, your email address is either listed with us as someone who has
expressly shared this address for the purpose of receiving information in the future ("opt-in"), or
you have registered or otherwise have an existing relationship with us. Each email sent contains an
